Memmeh Borehole

Posted on by scottmaciver

The Gambia Partnership previously funded a borehole in Memmeh village, in the North Bank region, in order to provide a suitable water supply for the benefit of a Christian family and those living nearby.

Following a request for additional funding, the Gambia Partnership committee recently funded the installation of additional water tanks, solar panels and a new water pump at the borehole in Memmeh. This is hoped will enable the family to grow additional and sustainable crops, both for their own consumption and to provide an income from the sales of their fresh local produce.
