Food Aid

The following is a brief report from our Gambian committee who provided food aid to a number of vulnerable families yesterday:
“Our mission to reach out to vulnerable families during this time of crisis was really a big success in His name. The board purchased all the food items on 12th May at Serrekunda, for distribution on 13th at Westfield cooperative. Representatives from all 12 families selected were present. Samuel gave a short introduction about the charity stating the purpose of the gathering and telling them the reason why we deem it necessary to carry out this gesture. The families were very happy and grateful, and expressed their delight as they received their food aid, including rice, oil, potatoes and onions.”
