Bible Shipment
September 4, 2025The Gambia Partnership recently sent a pallet of print Bibles, solar powered audio Bibles (in local dialects) and theological books from Stornoway to our committee in Gambia. It should take around 6 weeks to reach Gambia, via shipping container. This was enabled by funds generously contributed via individuals, congregational collections and grants. It is hoped there will be a further Bible appeal in 2026.
One of the main aims of the Gambia Partnership is to freely distribute the Scriptures to anyone who would accept a copy, along with equipping ministers and our Gambian committee members with materials for evangelism, “so then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17).
We would appreciate prayer that these Bibles would be blessed to the salvation of souls in Gambia.
