Gambian Theology Class

A brief message from Philip Senessie (circulated in the Gambia) in relation to the theology class due to be held tonight…

Good day friends, it’s Tuesday again. It seems time flies so fast these day. Anyway, having completed our series on Islam, today will we be completing our previous series on the ATTRIBUTES OF GOD by Dr. Steven Lawson. We will also begin a new series on Christian biographies.

We will be look at the life of Explorer and Christian Missionary to Africa, David Livingstone. A servant of God who left certainty for uncertainty in Africa, he left comfort for discomforts (fought with a lion, got struck by Malaria, Malnutrition etc) . He held firmly to our Lord’s promise: “… and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20) as a missionary to Africa. He took his final breaths while kneeling in prayer at his bedside. What a motivation for us. Come and let’s learn together. 6pm prompt. See below a few quotes from David Livingstone:

“If a commission by an earthly king is considered an honor, how can a commission by a Heavenly King be considered a sacrifice?”- David Livingstone

“Christ alone can save the world, but Christ cannot save the world alone”- David Livingstone

“The best remedy for a sick church is to put it on a missionary diet”-
David Livingstone

“God had an only Son and He made him a missionary”- David Livingstone.

God bless you. Come along with a friend if you can.
