Memmeh Outreach
February 18, 2016The following relates to an outreach by our Mission Worker & a few of our committee members to Memmeh village today. We had visited Memmeh for the first time during our visit to Gambia in November…
Philip Senessie: It went well. The Gospel was presented simply and questions were asked. Prayed for the work and people in Memmeh and had chats with some of the people who were Muslims but have been brought to faith in Christ by the Spirit.
One man I spoke to told me he is thankful for our coming…he painfully told me about the persecution he is going through for the faith…It seems to him that God has abandoned him…I encouraged him, prayed for him and promised to help out with the mud house he is struggling to build. One cannot be indifferent to the severe needs of people as the Gospel is Preached… You almost tend to forget your own problems….Anyway, the greatest message was proclaimed- Salvation in Jesus Christ alone.
